I was proven wrong with this product. I had about a snap’s worth of hair and decided that I wanted to grow it out in November 2007. Knowing me, if I don’t grow it out fast, I’ll cut it off even faster. So I started taking this product almost two months ago. Now I’m not saying I have hair flowing down my back, but my hair has easily grown two inches or more since November. Further, the texture of my hair both strengthened and softened within two weeks. I purchased two more bottles yesterday and given this progress, I should be sporting a ponytail in 2009!JULY 2008 UPDATE: I’ve been growing my hair since November 2007 from a short clipper cut and now my hair is nearly chin length AFTER just having an inch and a hair trim. Love this stuff!

I left it on for much longer than the recommended 7 minutes – probably closer to 30 minutes. My hair was just that dried out. Afterwards, my hair was so silky smooth and soft – it didn’t even resemble its’ former self! Leaving it on that long, it did kind of dry to my hair and I probably had to rinse it longer than if I had just left it on for the 7 minutes. About a week later, I used it on my daughter’s hair, left it on extra long again, but this time I put a shower cap over it until I rinsed it out. The shower cap kept it from drying to the hair so that’s what I’m doing with from now on. This is just an amazing product and I look forward to using it!

I used it on my beyond fried bleach blonde (that I box bleach 2x a month) hair and I can’t tell you how amazing it looks and feels. I highly highly recommend this product to anybody! I have very long thick hair and I use much more then the instructions call for but no matter how much I use I never have that greasy overdone look, just flawless beautiful shiny hair :)
